Our cultural and political contexts are different. No party can afford to reveal its hand, or appear to divide the "spoils of war", before the results are out. It could impact morale in each respect camp, and also make them a laughing stock if they falsely claim to be "in a comfortable lead". Other than flagbearer and running mate, all other positions will be up in the air, and subject to a lot of behind-the-scenes negotiation, but only after victory is declared.
So a great suggestion, but I doubt that it would be done in Ghana.
