I do sympatize with the parents and the teachers also. The schools should be equipped with paid nurses whose duty is to be able to provide first aid to students and also dtermine who should be sent to the hospitals.

the problem is that the infirmaries are not well equipped to take care of the children: inadequate medicine, lack of qualified health personnel and equipment. All they have there are beds and paracetamol.
Money wasted in the cathedral wastage could have been used wisely to remedy situations like this one.

Since Covid-19 era, Senior High Schools have nurses as permanent staff posted from the Ghana Health Service. So how and why was their infirmary empty? If that's the case.
