The system is such that headmasters, housemasters, and kitchen staff, etc. do not get to rest. There are no vacations for school administrators. Schools are always in session; when one class vacates, another track comes in the following day, so housemasters are stressed. The next government should review the current system as soon as it resumes office.

So many insensitive and irresponsible people in positions of authority in this country, and from this story, this is particularly serious within the Ghana Education Service.
Unfortunately, these incidents are continuing because they are continually being swept under the carpet, with the individuals involved not being held personally liable.
The court ruling against Achimota School, is just a tap on the wrist compared to the life lost, and the House Master most probably will not be directly affected (I hope I am wrong there).
