Everybody is saying the comparison is unfortunate; of course it is unfortunate, but it is true though. If our educated elite want to treated with respect they should stop looting and sharing and start building and developing.

The Ghanaian hustler who expressed his opinion that "a Dutch passport has more value than Ghanaian PhD concerning visa free opportunities" is saying the truth.
Mind you,the guy doesn't have PhD and perhaps doesn't know what it is.He is talking from his personal experience and with euphoria.
I expect a Ghanaian PhD to refute that vague statement in a very comprehensive manner.

There are many people who leave Ghana with graduate degrees and end up working clerical jobs in Western countries and yet are more content with their standard of living than f they stayed back in Ghana. This debate had never come up in the past, until the shambolic management of our country's affairs by NEBUCHADNEZZAR Akufo-Addo and his puppet Alhaji Dr Timothy Mahamudu Bawuliar. Even in the worst era of our political history which was characterized by frequent coup d'etat, citizens had respect for academic laurels. This debate only came about when supposed human right lawyers started subverting the constitution by manipulating the judiciary and economic wzkids begun sending the nation into bankruptcy. Unemployment, cost of living crisis and wanton corruption has festered beyond redemption. All our these unfortunate situations are supervised by PhD holders who promised us heaven but are delivering one hell of society- including you Ntim Fordjour, a reverend at that. Just apply home sense to your book knowledge and the debate will be won. "We have the men" nonsense!!!

This conclusion is based on the fact that, many with PhD in Ghana do not use their qualification to engage in critical thinking or analysis of the country's problem which could lead to foemulating appropriate solutions to the country's problems.
