There is a provision that if nothing is found against a policeman who was interdicted after 6 months, his salaries shouldn't be stopped in anyways, it was flouted

How do you know there are no linkages Mr Agordzo? Are you now in the working circle of the Government? Watch out Ghanaians, another Koku Anyidohu in the making. It was opportunism that caused him the incarceration but some people don't learn lessons. What would make a supposingly intelligent man come out with a statement such as this. Perhaps he cannot fathom the sympathies he has lost by this singular act unless it was intended to spite Mr Dampare.

This is what some of us have been saying over and over again.
Our Constitution in its current state gives too much power to the Executive (led by the president), and as such, democracy really functions during the 'electioneering process". After the elections are won, what we have in place is an autocratic presidential government. This system was put in place at a time when the country was transitioning from a Dictatorship (under the PNDC) to a multi-party democracy (by a committee which was boycotted by the Ghana Bar Association). It has now outlived its usefulness and it needs to be considered as a top priority in the long overdue constitutional review. For our democracy to advance, the Parliamentary System of Governance will be much more 'beneficial'.
