That Education minister is very wicked.
Even after CETAG won the arbitration award he still wants to do his own thing. Always using freezing of salaries to intimidate them. And he knows they are not paid well so they cannot ...

Even after CETAG won the arbitration award he still wants to do his own thing. Always using freezing of salaries to intimidate them. And he knows they are not paid well so they cannot stand it if the salaries are denied them. Would he and all the big men continue working if government owes them what they are due for this long? Even they who are very comfortable with their salaries and other juicy allowances. After that they will steal the remaining part of the country's money and pack them down for their children's children. But the small money the poor worker deserves to survive this harsh economy too, they don't want to pay.
Why should we go on strike every year over the same thing?

He who come to Equity must come with clean hands. Time value of money is very important. Inflation is biting hard.

Organised labour should have intervened on behalf of the stiking teachers by calling for all workers to proceed on strike till all becomes well. The striking teachers also contribute to TUC.

Unions are supposed to pay the wages of members who go on strike expecially when the strike is illegal as is the case of these political teachers.
