When University for Development Studies, a school established bu JJ Rawlings himself, wanted to honor him, the NPP government led by president Kufuor refused. Ironically, University of Health and Allied Studies, established by the NDC government under Prof. Mills, has honored Nana Addo, a president of a NPP government.
