Lack of proper maintenance will throw this great initiative into the gutter. Each District must put forth a comprehensive plan on how to maintain these "Maintenance" machines. This starts with allocating a tiny amount of their annual budget for fixing, maintaining and repairing broken parts of the machines. Thank you.

All these are wrong move at wrong time. One the next NDC government must revive SCC and PWD across the country and equipped them with heavy machineries and employ students from the technical universities to build and services all roads and any building contracts bellow certain amount in the country. This will save the country alot of money. Only big contracts should be handle by a contractors. Any contract below GHS5 million should not be given to a contractor but should be handle by the SCC and the PWD.
