You don't know what you're talking about, you must ask for the history of the united party and others, because it's Affrifa/ Kotoka coup d'etat overthrowed Nkrumah CPP party, and brought UP part which was Busia/Akuffo Addo government which abandoned and collapse all the good work of Kwame Nkrumah, and then 1972 LT General Achaempong overthrowed Busia/Akuffo Addo government and ruled until 1978, the LT General Akuffo overthrow Achaempong, and they all abandoned and collapsed all the factories and infrastructure s Kwame Nkrumah started, It's president JJ Rawlings who overthrew the NLC2 government headed by LT General Akuffo and started doing good things in Ghana, so if you don't know ask and you will be told, because even your mother and father were not born so that's why you're talking trash that JJ Rawlings collapsed the factories and sold to his wife

When Nkrumah was overthrown in 1966, his detractors sought to condemn EVERY PROJECT OR PROGRAMME that his Government had instituted.They burned books pictures effigies. They systematically discredited and condemned the many factories,no matter what they were producing, and arbitrarilly closed them down. In the process jobs were lost, installed machinery and equipment were left to rot, customers ( local and foreign) were left high and dry.. Some foreign customers instituted and won action against Ghanaian suppliers for failure to honour supply contracts. The current powers that be have made efforts to keep some facts from current generation. They have also distorted and mixed up some narratives. But thank God, we cannot change the facts of history. The facts will surface sooner or later.
