Please in December 2023, Joseph Boahen Aidoo Chief Executive of COCOBOD informed us that from February to October 2023, COCOBOD purchased only 70 bags of cocoa from both the Oti and the Volta Regions. Now the Government has taken a loan of 68 million dollars from the Chinese to build a School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of UHAS. Please since Oti and the Volta Regions produced only 70 bags of cocoa in 2023, whose Regions cocoa are going to be exported to pay for the loan of 68 million that has been used to build the School of Nursing and Midwifery at UHAS Please since the Government takes loans for projects in this country, then all Regions and all Districts should produce an expert crop to be exported for the projects in this country. Also all Regions and all Districts should produce a raw material to feed an industry

It is better to be civil in our writings in regard to public figures. A number of people are writing comments on this page as if they are uncultured, uneducated and lack parental guidance. If the President has been awarded a honours degree for his good works, does that warrant insults and name- calling? Where have our good senses gone to? This is really sad.
