Anything and everything can be "dangerous" if they are left to themselves and to fate. The tricycles are currently the main source of income to many people and the main means of transport for millions of Ghanaians. They are as dangerous as taxis and mini-buses or all means of transportation. The riders should be trained and the union supported to professionally regulate their operations. The authorities should begin re-designing the roads and highways to make room for tricycles and other motorbike riders. That is what people with brains do and the NDC leaders have brains unlike some idiots I know parading as a league of vampires.

This is long overdue. The fact is that no government has the courage to stop the operations of pragya in this country considering the number of youth and individuals engaged in its operations, including the importers. So should they just be allowed to ply our roads with no regulations, no licensing, no insurance and no tax payment? I wish we could have a government that could ban their operations, starting with a ban on importations, but that can never happen under NPP or NDC government.

Are they saying that the millions of people who patronize the services of pragya cannot think? This is the cheapest means of transport and the dangers associated with them are man-made. These dangers can and should be addressed through training and strict enforcement of rules and regulations of their operations. If we pulled down several building only to dig the most expensive and most useless hole in the history of mankind, why can we redesign the road network to accommodate the pragya operations?

Creating factories and modernized agricultural producton (by adding value to agricultural products) could help in solving the unemployment problem in the country. Here instead, they are planning to expand the informal sector of the economy which may lead to less tax revenue to the state. It is true that neither NDC nor NPP can lift Ghana out of poverty. We keep recycling the two parties and they are not coming with any good ideas to move the country forward.
