  THEN DON’T DOUBT THE FACT THAT NANA HAS DONE MORE THAN NKRUMAH.
  
  If creation of new regions is a catalyst for developments, then Ghanaians especially the NDC shouldn’t challenge the fact that Akufo-Addo has done more than Nkrumah in terms of developments. Akufo-Addo has created five additional regions in 7 years whilst Nkrumah created just about three additional regions in 14 years.

  This is not possible when there is serious conflicts and tribal tension. Then Akwapims, Nzemas, Nanumbas, Sissalas with big lands will also demand for a region to be created for them. When there is conflict in your area, funds meant for development in your area is channel to security.

Bawku was fastest growing metropolis then but by the time of Upper East Bawku had regressed to a filthy war territory. creating a region for war is a no brainer.
