  Look at this foolish man. These people think they can keep defending their foolish bosses. It's no more a secret that not growing food is part of the world bank and IMF conditionalities. Some of us are daring John Mahama to go into sustainable agric should he come to power. How many of us noticed that he couldn't try it during his time? Atta Mills at least tried but was murdered!!

  I don't know why government upon government doesn't see lack of our railway network in the country as the major cause of higher food prices in the country. How can you rely on trucks to bring food from the villages to the cities and sell it cheap? Not only food rail transport is good for reducing cost of doing business. Until we fix our rail network food prices will keep on going higher because even if there is harverst for yam or plantain today fuel and spare parts prices are going higher so there no impact.

  That’s a lie, the more we focus only on government for high food prices the more those greedy market women are getting away with their wicked and Kalabule mentality, making quadruple profits from the poor. Check those so called market queens in Kumasi, Accra, Techiman and see how they have become cartels and mafias driving up food prices.

  It’s not necessarily transportation that’s just a tiny factor if prices of things increases because of the dollar rate you want the farmer to continue selling food cheap so they can’t afford even t roll which is importe ...

  It’s not necessarily transportation that’s just a tiny factor if prices of things increases because of the dollar rate you want the farmer to continue selling food cheap so they can’t afford even t roll which is imported and affected by the dollar rate the real cause is the dollar rate when those products increase the farmers also have to increase their goods to afford those things second big reason is greed

  Akuffo Addo and the NPP are a sham. Your incompetence and greed is the result of the difficulties we're in right now. High taxes affects price of goods and services. This would indirectly drive up prices for food.
