Most people still don't understand why Nkrumah sent Ghanaians to study in the Eastern Bloc countries and China. The answer is a simple one; her majesty the Queen of Britain refused to allow the govt of Ghana to send students to Britain to study. This is something no Ghanaian must forget. In those days a black person was not allowed to study in almost every state in the United States. Moreover, the Eastern Bloc countries allowed Ghanaians to study free of charge. The only problem was the language.

I mean how come the government has to pay TV stations and not vice versa. If you come to the Western world, TV/RADIO STATIONS pay to schools, basketball, football, baseball, soccer, hockey teams, gov't advertise to private companies and make money out of it. Just because you guys share the money among yourselves, you come out all the time to spew nonsense. See where the CEDI against foreign currency is right now because you choose to pay money in DOLLARS in your own country. Why don't you abolish the GH CEDIS then? up leaders with idle brains!.

Rather they've squandered and diverted over a hundred million dollars in the name of a two week event while the country lacks basic healthcare infrastructure, I've not even mentioned the bad roads especially between the capital and the second largest city. Hail to the thieves!
