  It was madness going for syndicated loans to buy cocoa from our farmers, in Cedis in the first instance. All the interest paid to these foreigners could be avoided. Surely, the Bank of Ghana has enough Cedis to purchase all the cocoa. Whose idea was this should be incarcerated in a mental home.
