In those days a black person was not allowed to study in almost every state in the United States. Moreover, the Eastern Bloc countries allowed Ghanaians to study free of charge. The only problem was the language.

I remember this story well at the time. Mr Ibrahim company Engineer and Planners took a $52 million.loan and ended up paying only $28 million.

These people are worse than armed robbers. Through their powerful connections, they take big loans from the banks and pay less back and they become fabulously rich through such deaks.

If Mr Ibrahim Maha paid a negotiated settlement of $28 million, it means he or his company owed more than the $28 million he paid but the bank at that time saw it as the best they can get from him.

If my memory serves me right and I can recollect correctly, Mr Ibrahim Mahama's Engineer Planners took a 52 or 57 million dollars loan and ended up paying only $28 million so Mr Mannaze was right to say Ibrahim was part the reason why that bank failed.

The bank never stated anywhere that the company never paid a penny after taking the loan. The company was called upon to settle the remaining loan balance in full while the loan term was not up for full settlement, hence the negotiation.

If you borrow monies from me and you did not meet the payment schedule, the loan went past due, and deprived me of my livelihood, resulting in my death, then you decided to pay later to my family after my demise, the harm is already caused even though you eventually paid off the debt. He took the money and defaulted over a long period depriving the bank of liquidity. This nonsense must stop! What was his credit rating at the time?????
