Did he try to represent someone in court? Nothing prevents anybody from naming himself Lawyer. There are people called Justice but are not justices in any court. There is too much intimidation in Ghana.

The General Legal Council must also necessarily investigate the conduct and activities of the Registrar of the Ghana Medical and Dental Council, Lawyer Dr. Divine Banyubala who is misusing his position and abusing his office. A petitioned has been filed against him in Gross disrespect and disregard for the Office of the Chief Justice where he was initially reported a number of occasions for judicial interference with court proceedings. Lawyer Dr. Divine Banyuvala was reported a number of times to the Complaints and Public Relations Unit and specifically to then Judicial Secretary and Secretary to the Chief Justice, Justice Pamella Addo for persistently harassing and persecuting the Plaintiff who filed a suit against the Employer, the Ghana Health Service for wrongful dismissal. The refusal of the Judicial Service of Ghana and specifically the Office of the Chief Justice to stop the misconduct on the part of Lawyer Dr. Divine Banyuvala emboldened him to force suspension of the license of practice of the Practitioner, his suspension from work and termination of his salary. This dubious action was clearly intended to imposed financial and economic sanctions on the Plaintiff to sabotage his case in Court. Representatives of the Defendants in Court including the Ghana Health Service, the Attorney General were mobilize at the Office of the Ghana Medical and Dental Council to indicate the Plaintiff with adverse findings to imposed multiple suspensions on him. The Ghana Medical and Dental Council itself is the second Defendant in the case. For about four (4) months now since the Plaintiff filed a complaint against Lawyer Dr. Divine Banyubala to the Chairperson of the General Legal Council, Her Lady the Chief Justice, the case has not been heard, after a counter-response by the Plaintiff following a preliminary response by Lawyer Dr. Divine Banyubala. Lawyer Dr. Divine Banyubala has been cited for contempt in Court by the Plaintiff. This particular Registrar of the Medical and Dental Council is acting with so much impunity. He is engaging in all manner of illegalities and unlawful processes at the Ghana Medical and Dental Council to victimize colleague medical practitioners unfortunately as the first legal and medical practitioner to be the Registrar of the Council. He should be thoroughly investigated by the General Legal Council for using a booklet called 'Fitness to Practice'that doesn't have any legal framework backing it to charge and suspend the licenses of Medical Practitioners. This is a grievous offence of the law and one doesn't now what is holding both the General Legal Council and the Office of the Chief Justice from calling the case against Lawyer Dr. Divine Banyubala by the Plaintiff. If such grave offences in law by the Registrar of the council as a regulatory body cannot be investigated by the General Legal Council and the Office of the Chief Justice, then our justice system is indeed in crisis and we are doomed as a Country. Besides the damning report on Ghana's Judiciary by Transparency International, it is common knowledge both locally and globally that our Justice System is the doyen of corruption and institutional malpractices and mainly responsible for the endemic rot in the Country in often shielding notoriously corrupt public officers like Lawyer Dr. Divine Banyubala, the Registrar of the Ghana Medical l and Dental Council. When Anas Aremeyaw Anas implicated the Judiciary our Courts with massive corruption and bribery, it was said to be entrapment. It is not just about the recent damning report by Transparency International on same but anodoctal evidence support the fact that there is so much rot in our justice system with the conduct of this particular Lawyer, Divine Banyubala who essentially is being shielded by the General Legal Council and unfortunately the Office of the Chief Justice, with such extreme level of professional misconduct and ethical breaches, which are in fact criminal in nature. In fact, what Lawyer Dr.Divine Banyubala have done should been subject of prosecution by the AG Department in a serious jurisdiction where the law is applied irrespective of person and stature. Unfortunately, most judicial crimes in shielding corrupt public officials who are destroying institutions of governance and killing development of the Country for their selfish gains are often masterminded by the AG Department who team up with the Judicial Service of Ghana, including the Courts to perpetuate crimes and injustice against majority vulnerable and less privilege citizens of State at the mercy of the powerful and rich.
