  It is only idiots who depend on rain to farm. Our leaders travel to Europe and America, do farmers there depend on rain only? Even if you go to south Africa serious farmers provide dugouts in their farms to collect water when it rains and when the rains stop they use that water to water the farm. The dugouts have gates, just like a dam but it is simple where you open the gates and the water runs along the beds/ringes. Farming requires planning and investment. We should move away from traditional farming we depend on the rain. We can also add green houses to provide vegetables and even maize through out the year instead of dams. In the Northern sector we can trap water along the black Volta, especially when Burkina Faso opens the Bagre dam and water is getting wasted but the same water is lacking many farms in the same North.

  You are on point. When it rains we are in trouble, when it's drought we are in trouble; don't we have brains? Don't our politicians have generators in their homes? There's water underground, it only takes people with brains to pump it up to irrigate their farms. Our politicians are only interested in titles and accolades.

  There is drought and the government has recognized and implemented measures with a ban on grain export. We need the grain at home for consumption. The government ought to be commended.

Send NAPCo to the North. Joseph in the bible did save a vast area of Egypt during the drought. Why can't we get a Joseph emerging from a blessed nation like ours instead of sharing free money for short term gain. In addition the population down South could be urged to at least start backyard gardening. Build school farms and institutions with good land urged to expand and that thousand Ghana given to them to pay temporary farmhands instead. Let's no wait to plagiarize. Invite

He was moved over to another aviation ministry as the remedy. At least a good dam or the pwalugu one could be holding so much water from the Bagree to help all the northern farmers. The Turkish government has help Turkish cyproits in north Cyprus by piping water hundreds of kilometers from turkey under tbe sea to Cyprus. Today farming is booming over there. All the $59 million wasted on the national

  Our farmers must update themselves about the modern ways of doing things and use the common sense approach in their dealings with the State and it's officials, if this is not how your colleagues in other countries are being treated by governments what then gives the Government of Ghana the go ahead to do these things to you guys. Personally Government of Ghana have become the Father in King Ayisoba's song and waiting for a change will be in futility because the behavior they are displaying is pathological

  We truly serve a good God. Just when these nation wrecking looters seem to be getting away with the monies squandered on the Pwalugu multipurpose dam, two things happens to expose their wicked plans against mother Ghana; Bagre dam spillage and drought in the northern Ghana, threatening livelihoods and food security. Where are the dams? But Ghanaians should be vigilant. They want to create artificial crisis in order to steal relief funds from the contingency Fund for electioneering campaign under the guys of social intervention. These guys are just a bunch of unrepentant crooks!!!
