  NOT IN MY NAME. This intent is politically laced, and not in the interest of any teacher. Were Nagrat, Gnat and so-called CCT not in this country when the NDC administration under former President John Mahama engaged in paying newly recruited teachers, teachers returning from study leave, leave without pay, teachers whose salary were intentionally skipped in months, teachers who were re-engaged, teachers who were re-instated as well as those who returned from maternity leave only 3 months, even if they had worked 5 years and due to be paid for all the years they had laboured in offer of service to the state? Not only that, the government of the day applied same policy to those who were owed months in promotion arrears? What have they done about those real monies owed in arrears to the numerous affected teachers that fell victims to that diabolic treatment and they are here crying over tokens which members are not even aware of? These teacher unions now led by known NDC apparatchiks are tarnishing the image of teachers. They should learn from ATAG and INNOVATIVE Teachers Unions, which are now more credible and attractive than them.
