Members and supporters of the party of Ayigbes and Northerners conduct themselves like they won the elections yesterday. A clear case of one counting one's chickens before they are hatched. Therefore they fail to appreciate the possibility of losing. In 2020 they claimed to be in a "comfortable lead". Thus when reality hit that they had lost they hit the streets screaming "no Mahama no peace". They are setting up the same scenario this year. Their perennial flagbearer says: "mark my words NDC will win"! He goes further to threaten Wontumi and other officials of the NPP. A deputy general secretary says he will jail Wontumi. This is the party that seeks to govern Ghana. A party obsessed with vengeance even before the votes are counted. Ghanaians want development and not a repeat of the excesses of the (P)NDC. The question to the party of Ayigbes and Northerners is: does it not occur to you that you will lose?
