Since Jerry Rawlings left office as president in 2001, NDC has never thought of even selecting an Ewe as a running mate, let alone as a presidential candidate. Since 1992, the running mates have been mainly Fantis. Rawlings chose Akaah and Mills, all Fantis. Mills selected Darigaman Mahama who also selected Amissah Arthur (a Fanti) after he became president. After the demise of Amissah Arthur, Mahama selected Naana Opoku Agyeman in 2020, and again in 2024. When it gets to elections, NDC knows Ewes. When it comes to development and power, they don't know us. One airport that was built in Ho has not seen any commercial aircraft since it was commissioned with inflated contract sum. It is rather NPP who gets very small number of votes in our region that have done almost all the development projects. Let us show the NDC, John Darigaman Mahama and their leaders that we cannot be taken for granted anymore. By the Grace of God, our children have also benefitted from free SHS. We don't want to lose free SHS, so we shall vote to keep Mahama away from the Jubilee House for good. Just go and enjoy the money you stole from the country through politics. You can't continue to step on our balls without consequences. The time is up and your cup is full.
