One can’t get pregnant all by herself. She did it with a man. So where is the man responsible? Cold weather is arriving very soon in Canada and the situation is going to get worse.

Going to a shelter is probably the best move at this time. And when it comes to delivering the baby she can go through emergency. But doesn’t mean it’s going to be cost free. The hospital will bill her for all related charges.

If It is possible for her to fly at this time, then she should go back to Ghana now rather than later. I am surprised to learn the church, run by Ghanaians, also evicted her. Something does not sound right.

Maybe the girl is hanging on to the hope that if she delivers in Canada, she would get permanent stay because of the baby. She must know her hospital bills and immigration issues do not go together. If you came to Canada under a student visa, you can’t turn around to be a refugee easily.
