Who is ruling Ghana? Do we have leaders in Ghana? Where are they? Who is to be blamed? The country has become like animal farm. Institutions in Ghana are not working period. Where is minister of interior, IGP, CID boss, Ghana police, judges, lawyers? Does Ghana CID respond if one reports a criminal? NO. Ghana police CID, judges know who are doing the galamsey but they don't care. IGP knows them but he doesn't care. Corruption has turned Ghana to animal farm. Ghana police know all the criminals but they don't care unlike Europe, and North America institutions work. Africans can't rule themselves period. Do we have thinkers in Ghana? Who are the thinkers? I want to know them. Institutions don't work in the country. Nothing is working in Ghana and Africa.

Back in school, I had a friend who had a pistol. I also had a very deadly double-edged machete. We had a carpenter create special compartments for us in our boxes. The difference between our time and now is that today's students dont fear anything and are not discreet in their actions. In our day, a student would have been sacked immediately if found to hold any deadly weapon or found to threaten another student. What business do you have carrying a machete when you are not going to school farm?

Things will not improve unless parents show more interest in their children and schools are better managed by more concerned teachers. The unnecessary government interference weakens the strength of teachers in schools

2. Parental negligence: Parents are allowed to give birth to any number of children and bring up the ones they parents choose to cater for and leave the rest on the mercy of the street.
3. Bookish educational curriculum that does not solve the immediate needs of man: Food, water and accommodation.
4. Inadequate Security and Corrupt Security System: The laws arrest only the poor and marginalized but the rich offender can go scort free.
5. Galamsey: You can destroy all the water bodies and land to search for your gold provided you have the money to pay us. We don't care about the poor farmer and his dependent on the fresh water bodies. They can die for all we care.
6. Examination Malpractices: Bribe us and we will let you pass. We don't care who turns out a doctor, nurse or a teacher because we will send our kids outside the country and seek medical care outside the country.
7. Political and Party Leaders and Not Leaders of the Nation. Think about your party faithfuls and not the nation. Take all that you can take and leave office and spend it with your family alone. Either home or abroad.
8. Bought Traditional Stools and Skins not the True and Rightful Occupant. This rightful royal side, have no money and they want their rightful child to be a Chief or Ruler; No way.

Blaming authorities for indiscipline? No, we all are part of the problem(indiscipline). Indiscipline is not only in SHS but everywhere even in religious circles. Indiscipline on the highways, market, shops, on streets, families etc. Tragic incident at O"Reilly so everyone is talking about it meanwhile, market women are killing us not as instant as it happened at O'Reilly but slowly by using rotten vegetables and unwholesome ingredients to prepare food for customers. When a teacher punishes a child of say JHS, a brother, mother, father, sister or sometimes a whole family match to the school just to teach the teacher a lesson. We are reaping what we have sowed over the years so we all have ourselves to blame especially when we glorify nonsense. In America, a student will pull a gun and take people's lives and in Ghana not gun but knife/machete.

I was passing around some ATTC boys at Kokomlemle and I was shocked the kind of attitude and behaviors they were showing it was embarrassing to the point I had to call one of them and ask him if his parents took him through school to be what he wants to be or someone better .
Most of these tough guys we knew in the Zongos back in the day lived a short life . Killed by their kind , some were cursed , others died at the land sites , some were killed by the police and those alive are today drug addicts or are living a wretched life .

Yougings please learn and stop fooling !!!

Indiscipline is pervasive I our schools today and I will blame it on the clueless and irresponsible politician who is playing politics with everything including a national development tool like education. The politicians today has little or no regard for the moral values of this country, this is leading to the raising up of the youth who are 'neglected future killers'.
Please don't limit this to O'Reilly shs, indiscipline in our schools are getting very bad. We need to declare state of emergency on it just as galamsey.

They spoiled our children in this country but theirs has been sent abroad for better education so that they will come and lead us and continue this same child rights something. Give Ghanaian students ten years to come and nobody can stand them. I think the government should come in to help stop these unfortunate incidents.

It’s our own Ghanaians…. Since the educational system was changed and things were not doing the right way what do we expect…This is just the beginning …Our days in secondary school beating and large portions were given to us to weed when we fault the authorities…when government said the kids should not be beating when wrong is done against the school this is the end product …The next time a teacher will be stabbed to death that’s when this old fools that we have as leaders will wake up from their slumber and reverse the law of not beating kids when they misbehaved…
