It only became a tool for some people to gain prominence. After some time, it sliced into obscurity. No relevance now. It has become an appendage of the NPP. How shameful it is. Why are you complaining now? Only the NPP has that kind of funds to buy electoral votes. The Ghana Bar Association stinks! It reeks of corruption.

After the change of govt in the year 2001, the GBA under Kwame Tetteh openly declared that the association was no longer going to comment on political matters. That was the beginning of the backward much for the GBA. It was a strange decision indeed. That was when I realized the GBA was only there to critcize Rawlings and his govt. They hated him to the core. Now here we are. A sick country with a very very sick GBA. NA WHO CAYSE AM?

I think the Ghana Bar Association as an organization has a code of professional conduct that guide the behaviour of all sworn in lawyers. If there is something like that then it is time to cleanse the Bar association by outing these corrupt individuals and oust them from your midst. Suspend them from prcatising law for a period and after that they should go back to take classes in ethics and professional behaviour of a lawyer.
