  Do the cars don't have lights some drivers can see in the night they have poor eye sight others drive careless and dangerous and don't have regards for pedestrians

  Yao I'm sure you don't drive but if you do you'll reason with the driver. It's sad that a life was lost but it's not all drivers who are careless.

  Street markings go hand in hand with street lighting. Both must be done asap because if the lights were on the faded zebra crossings would be seen especially by drivers. Pedestrians have a wild west experience crossing any road in Ghana because drivers see them as a nuisance

  Why don't authorities allow foot bridges to be used exclusively for that: no more hawking on them will also help since using a food bridge is a scary experience, with hawkers insulting pedestrians for using the remaining 30% of space left by them for the purpose

  I hate both NPP/NDC. Someone will bring 24 hour economy he is not talking about Street lights.

  I doff my hat to this learned judge for her reasonable appeal to the authorities responsible for marking our high ways. In every civilized country proper road markings are placed and highways illuminated even long distance high ways both sides of the roads are illuminated fo4r safe
  driving but in Ghana it is the opposite side. On long distance high ways you are met with deep, life threatening pot holes in the middle of the road. One can easily lost his life if you driving at night and all of a sudden falls into that pot hole. This situation in the country is dangerous therefore the authorities must sit up and make these roads safe for the citizens to drive on.
