  Exactly @Kewsi Abodam. This fool going on about the colour makeup of the board should tell us how has the black only board members of BOG performed. He should see how a useless bunch of thieves we blacks are when we have no oversight none more so than today when we have called in IMF and they have placed a person at the BOG. Look at all the indicators around our monitory reserves improving and inflation dropping, why, is it not because we have a Whiteman sitting at the BOG overseeing and making sure we are not stealing and printing money. Fool that this guys comments are....

  I am certain some people will come on Ghanaweb to say the bank was established by Kwame Nkrumah and that Akufo Addo removed Nkrumah from the picture.

  Nobody is claiming this Bank for Nkrumah. But Nkrumah did establish Bank for Housing and Construction, Agricultural Development Bank, National Investment Bank. Guess what we run all these banks to ashes.

  The problem I have with Ghanaians is that we can build but we don't know how to maintain. These three banks I have mentioned had very clear objectives but we let them all vanish. So one step forward three steps backwards.

  By the way Ghana moved first to the Ghana pound before the cedi. The cedi did not come into circulation in 1958. Please whenever you are writing check for the accuracy of the information.

  The first cedi was introduced in 1965, replacing the pound. Not in 1957 !!! After independence we had Ghanaian pounds. Until 1965. Journalist do your job well.
