He didn’t need any help from the government in his quest to mediate the Bawku crisis since he is currently the second most highest ranking government official from the North. As a Northerner and the Speaker of the Ghanaian Parliament he has failed to mediate the faction conflict that’s so close to his home. So he shouldn’t bring the government in his nonsense. It’s a political stunt. I have said that the Chinese Furniture Business Honcho Bagbin is nursing an ambition to contest as a candidate in the next NDC Presidential primaries. So all these things are part of his ploy to raise his status. Don’t mind him!
