Many of you are either ignorant of the issues raised by the NDC or you are just defending foolishly. NDC is not talking about dead people being on the register. They talking about illegal transfer of voters to other parts of the country without their knowledge, E.g., 38 people transferred from tamale and Sangnerigu constituencies to Pusiga in the U/E.R. How do we know if this criminal act is not widespread. Who will be happy to gon on the &th Dec. at his polling station with his card only to be told your name is not in the list but in a different region? There 1000s of photos of voters which are not visible and will also create problems on the day. So, the best thing is to allow an independent body like the UNDP, Commonwealth, etc to audit the register with all stakeholders present.

With the way a person can vote.And it should be very simple.So the way people are on the roll......is just by being registered in your constituency right???.......when you go inside the office on the day,and say who you are
and your residential address,along with your voter card.....the officer runs a line thru your name ,and hands you ballot papers. Right???
So if u decide not to vote,or are dead
then there will be no line thru your name....and your vote won't be counted.....as your a no show.
So ,at the end of the day.....only the names with line thru their will be counted.....you can only vote once....
So if you move from region to another, you have to declare where you last voted,so your name can be deleted from your previous constituency......now,Ghana do have issues with stupid people, a lot in fact....who don't do this..... but it can be picked up with a proper computer system ,and the electoral commission can cancel these votes as they are informal.
If you follow this principle.....where's the issue?
LINE THRU YOUR NAME YOUR VOTE IS COUNTERED.....IF YOUR DEAD OR A NO SHOW.......THERE WILL BE NO LINE THRU YOUR NAME ,AND VOTE WILL BE INVALID.
