What does Domfe - the author of the article above claim to be? A holder of Ph.D in economics - just like his mentor, Veep Bawumia? And they both are incapable of performing the simple task of AN OBJECTIVE COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE STATE OF GHANA'S ECONOMY under HE President John Dramani Mahama and that of the current Akufo-Addo - Bawumia government. THIS IS, INDEED, VERY SHOCKING!!!!!
This domfe guy (obviously an NPP "serial caller" and propagandist) is probably resident in KUUKUSLAND - on some other planetary body!!!!!
How can any reasonable, sane and fair-minded person or economist be that disingenuous to ever attempt to COMPARE HE President Mahama's legacy of a Buoyant Economy (under which we experienced massive investments in prudent, "self-paying" infrastructural projects / programmes in all sectors or departments of the economy such as the Atuabo Gas Plant, Terminal 3 of the Accra Airport, the establishment HUNDREDS OF FACTORIES under the Ghana Free Zones Board Programmes and Projects, the OVER FORTY-TWO THOUSAND KILOMETRES OF VARIOUS CATEGORIES OF ROADS INFRASTRUCTURE (vide the 2017 Budget of the Akufo-Addo - Bawumia government delivered by the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta - among many others, all over Ghana) to the "BORLA" economy of Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government WHICH HAS CRASHED - and is classified by ALL international Rating Organizations as having attained JUNK STATUS. THE DIFFERENCE IS LIKE DAY AND NIGHT.
Is this domfe guy aware that under AKUFO-ADDO and his "driver's mate, BAWUMIA, the Ghanaian economy is SO TATTERED that it IS SURVIVING primarily on the lifeline of DEFERRED DEBT (RE) PAYMENTS arising out of the infamous Domestic Debt Restructuring Programme (under which Ghanaians, including PENSIONERS, were cruelly given HAIR-CUTS and, in some cases, "HEAD-CUTS") and agreements with Ghana's "bilateral creditors, including China and France, to restructure $5.4 billion of debt" as part of Ghana’s $3 billion International Monetary Fund (IMF) bailout Programme.
The so-called positive indicators domfe refers to are ARTIFICIAL, AN ILLUSION AND NOT REAL!!!!!.
THE TRUE STATE OF THE ECONOMY - THE EXTENT OF THE DESTRUCTION OF THE ECONOMY AND ITS IMPACT ON THE LIFE OF GHANAIANS - WOULD BE BETTER FELT AND APPRECIATED WHEN WE START REPAYING OUR DEBTS.
Please, do not pull wool over the eyes of the suffering, Ghanaian people.
COME AGAIN, Mr. Domfe!!!!!!!!!!!!!
