But one wonders; what was the basis the 'plea bargain' that was successfully entered into, in the case of an 'individual' who 'allegedly' shot two MTTU Police Officers to death, one at point blank range, in broad daylight, and in the view of witnesses? If I recall, the incident occured in the Central Region.

What lesser offence than murder could the prosecution and defence have agreed upon in such a case?
