I remember the day was a Monday. Accra Hearts of Oak beat Hafia Club of Guinea 3-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Quarter final of that years Africa Clubs Championship at the Accra Sports Stadium. Rawlings and then Guinean President Ahmed Sekou Toure who was the guest of honour at the handing over ceremony the next day were present at the Stadium.

A coup is nothing short of taking a nation hostage. Ghana should never support a coup. Those coup makers are greedy and corrupt they are selfish and never the way govern the people.
