The police were rather making a big sum of money in this galamse operation. My brother is doing this galamse at plasu area using the canoe one in the river. This galamse owners are in a group contribution huge sum of money. Whenever the police people come to arrest them the galamse owners pay them huge sum of money to the police doing the operation
The police get the telephone numbers from the galamse owners. What they do is if another group of police officers going there to make arrest they called the galamse owners to inform them that the police will be coming. They will advise the galamse owners to pack up all their equipment and nobody should go to work that day. If they go there and they don't find anyone at the side they will go back thinking they have stopped working. My brother said the first day they came their boss paid them almost 500000 million Ghana cedis before they left. The whole thing be come bargaining between the police and the galamse owners
It will very difficult to stop this galamse because the police are only looking for their money and goes away from them.
