  It was under NDC that "galamsey" gained international recognition and they did absolutely nothing to stop it. Who was Aisha Huang and what was her role when it comes to galamsey?

  It was under NDC that "galamsey" gained international recognition and they did absolutely nothing to stop it. Who was Aisha Huang and what was her role when it comes to galamsey?
  
  Aisha Huang was arrested which NDC protested and in 2020 when the fight to stop galamsey was gaining ground, Mahama went behind the scenes, and gave his support and that illegal miners would be set free and galamsey would flourish under his governemnt. With that sweet talk from the Ex- president, NDC won in all the galamsey areas so who was promoting galamsey as against who was fighting it?
