Even the King of England who is the constitutional head of state of UK is criticized openly by British people. Please, the Asantehene is not in the same league as the King of England because Asantehene is not a King of any country but only a King of a tribal geographical area in the Republic of Ghana. Moreover there is no law in Ghana that defines criticising a King or a Chief as an offence punishable by subject the primitive humiliation and bullying of the offender - the unsophisticated vulnerable girl by the so-called well-cultured representatives of Asantehene at Manhyia Palace the other day. I doubt it very much that the Asantehene in his eminence would not treat this vulnerable girl the way she was treated by these alleged representatives of his. Some of these empty heads, ill-educated and ill-informed tribal bigots of Asante nostalgia should learn from this and stop stoking a constitutional crises in Ghana as whether Ghana is a Monarchical political system with democratic values of a Republican political system that recognises the rule of law and not rule of man.
