I understand why some are criticising and insulting chiefs in Ghana. They have looked away while our country and waters are destroyed. However, my main concern is to see children and young people insulting the elderly. It is a sign of what is broken in our society. Being respectful is not the same as not speaking out when something is wrong. It is how you express yourself. We need to bring discipline and sanity into our systems. You cannot move forward without discipline, and I don’t mean kowtowing to people and not speaking out. But respecting rules of the game. With this attitude of insulting everyone and everything, how do we develop without discipline?

The reason why they were never elevated and defeated. If you understand geopolitics; you will know that Ashanti kingdom expansion was truncated when Gas defeated Ashanti Akatamanso war; that’s what truncated Ashanti expansionary expedition to become the dominant kingdom. They needed to add a coastal line to their kingdom. So ashanti kingdom has been dead since. The status quo is now Ghana, a republic. We can have a referendum for Ashanti to leave but they can never rise above Ghana, Ghana our beloved country is free forever. Can a leg survive outside the body on its own? Never. Nobody from any tribe ever wishes to be from another tribe ever in all my interactions with people from every tribe.
