My Sociology people should correct me if wrong, for now i will deal with the Economic front of the matter, The current crop of the political leaders have coined the phrase the Guggisburg Economy being the economy situation of Ghana, Ghana today still remains an exporter of primary commodities where they get the foreign exchange need to import products the people need to make life bearable, my understanding is that this dynamic signaled the inferior for lack of a better word nature of the State of the African personality, someone incapable of Governing themselves, producing modern products it people needed and had to depend on an advance civilization who had become something like a father figure

Dr. Nkrumah for all his shortcomings got it right when it came to his decision to use national development as a vessel to communicate to the African and the rest of the world that the Ghanaian/African was no inferior to other persons and should be awarded some respect. One has to take into account scholarships used is justifying Segregation in North America and Aparthied in South Africa.

Our Akosombo still remains the largest artificial lake on the planet, it's purpose was to generate the energy needed for industralization to take off painfully the experiment could take hold. The dream was big and success could have been equally big, as at today Ghana's experiment at being an independent Nation can be classified as a failure and failed project and experiments have repercussions
