Did Ghanaians, including the academics not able to read through the fact that the Anti LGBTQ debates served as a distraction ploy by the parliament of Ghana from tackling major problems of the country? It's so amazing that the lecturer should be asking these questions now? Where was he? Inflations, corruption and impunity of the ruling class was all there and it was simply convenient for them to detract attention with an emotional issue over sex and morality; for the clergy who are the dependent class, and survives on emotion and these topics, they latched on to it but one expected the thinking class or teachers of University to see this through long before now.
