What is there to be shameful of? I am surprised at this statement. Has GMA ever embarked on strike action in this country? why do they strike on condition of service? Wasn't it unconscionable for them then?

    I don't believ ...

Galamesy is an existential threat to all Ghanaians. When doctors go on strike for their conditions of service, they are not aware that patients are on dialysis or they have emergencies to attend to. Hypocrisy.

  • Exactly 1 year ago

Exactly my thought... we could be playing around pretending to remedying this galamsay menace or really actionise talks of curbing this menace especially when the political parties, some state agencies have neck-deep involvem ...

But they forget dying patients and go on strike for minor things like Conditions of Service. Thank God that very soon all these unprincipled associations will become as moribund as the Ghana Bar Association.

  • How? 1 year ago

But you were willing to abandon patients to go on a strike over the proposed sale of mere hotels, even though their sale won't result in kidney damage or other long term health problems. The galamsey benefit is deeper than w ...

Is it because the aftermath of the galamsey menace will produce more patients for you practice on??

Messi, when doctors go on strike they do not force other workers to join them. What Organized Labor is doing is pure blackmail of the government.

Only if they decide to be Gyimiiiiiiiii Medical Association then it is over to them. DUGBALAWO!!!

Most of the Ghana medical association leadership are NPP supporters and so will not agree to strike. GMA should have been the first institution to go on strike because we're talking about the health of the people.

  • Akoto 1 year ago

But it's justified to go on strike because of salary increments, you don't make sense at all GMA.
