  The figures are deceptive. 120 billion at an exchange rate of 3.8 cedis to the dollar is 32 billion dollars. An amount of 750 billion cedis at 16.5 cedis to the dollar is 45 billion. So this government. Due to expansion of the economy added less that 10 billion as most of the loans are used to service DC take or pay debts. NDC TOOK ECONOMY FROM 9 BILLION DEBT TO 36 BILLION, A 27 BILLION INCREASE IN DEBT
