In any case, Mr Mahama NEVER said that other candidates are not worthy. He said that Mr Mornah is a "more worthy candidate". It's like GOOD, BETTER, BEST. For instance, if I say that Messi is a better footballer than C.Ronaldo, it does not mean that C. Ronaldo is a bad. It means that C Ronaldo is a GOOD footballer but Messi is BETTER than him.

One can understand why NPP fronts and cantankerous characters such as Akua Donkor and Kofi Akpaloo would want to create a storm out of it. But I'm disappointed in GCPP's Citizen Ato Dadzie, a well educated, level headed gentleman for towing that line. Instead of putting the feet of Jean Mensa and the EC to the fire for their authoritarian and capricious and arbitrary attitude, they were more interested in singing undeserved praises to the EC as if the EC was a private enterprise of Jean, Bossman and the others - to perform their duties with arbitrariness. Stop strengthening arbitrariness and subversion of state authority.

The merit of the case is questionable, even from a superficial viewpoint. If Mahama said some of the candidates shouldn't have been allowed, how does the litigant, in this case Akua Donkor, prove that Mahama himself wasn't included in that statement? And two, that whole business about Mahama being allegedly culpable in the death of Mills should also be grounds for Mahama to countersue.

The problem I have with the case isn't even Akua Donkor but the lawyer who who filed it. I guess it isn't only average Ghanaians who are suffering. Lawyers are suffering, too, and financially desperate enough to take on such a case.

Akua Donkor's utterances give me the impression that the NPP may be using her as an arm of their campaign.

As for me, I hope God answers my prayers for military takeover to teach these NDC and NPP crooks that the country has a third option besides them if they misbehave.

Rawlings would be hailed today if he didn't turn into a crook himself. Don't misunderstand me, there are things that can go wrong with a military government. For example, Rawlings killed a relative of mine during his revolution. My relative was part of the Supreme Military Council. Let me leave it at that. For years, I hated Rawlings. I have learned to let the pain go because he is dead. Secondly, the corruption we are seeing today is on a much higher scale than the military regimes of the past. I don't think politicians awhile back were subsidized to seek medical care in the West while the rest of us drank neem broth for everything. I don't think the politicians of the past opened offshore accounts to siphon off resources coming into the country. They stole what was in the country.

Whoever we have in power via military takeover will have shortfalls. But the NPP and NDC don't do much to come to power. They only change hands to rob the country. Mahama's administration was deemed the most corrupt in the history of our fourth republic, leading Rawlings to label his own party members as "greedy bastards." Today, people want Mahama back not because his administration was corruption-free, but because Akuffo Addo's administration has outdone Mahama's when it comes to the metrics of corruption. One party comes to power and the other goes into opposition waiting for the one in power to do worse. Where does that leave the country? You see the point?

It looks like the NPP is heading into opposition. They won't worry; they will only count on the next administration to do worse, which is very possible.

At least, with a military overthrow, the NPP and NDC crooks will know that the country has a third option.
