The three arms of government are equal in power and the judiciary cannot overrule the rulings of the legislature. If this is allowed to happen then Ghana is in deep shit because there will not be any check and balances in our democracy and the judiciary with the accomplice of the executive could turn our democracy into an authoritarian government. If five justices could rubbish the ruling of the Speaker of parliament who represents the legislature then Ghana is in trouble.
