  Bagbin as it stands now is the longest serving member of the house, both as MP and speaker of Parliament. It is unfortunate his era has witnessed the most rancorous and undisciplined house in the 4th republic. I will urge the speaker to endeavour to leave the house on a beautiful note. Ghanaians are watching him.

  Rt. Hon. Bagbin with all intent and purpose has demonstrated leadership in his public life and I have no doubt he shall bring to bear clarity in the constitutional brouhaha at hand. The supreme court must be told point blank that they also operate under the constitution and must be checked and parliament has got a role in that as well. Mr. Speaker, you have a role to play by asserting the powers of the legislature once and for all.

  A good man shouldn't contradict a professional man. The leader of a parliamentary house is supposed to be reliable, competent, respected, accountable. Not to rely on a good man scenario.
