As I have written in the past, it's tribally oriented Ghanaians like you who are partly responsible for the sorry state of Ghana. You only see good things when your tribe-affiliated party is in power. There's one Ghana for all of us whether NPP or not, NDC or not.

I could care less what Bagbin and the NDC leadership have done vis-a-vis suspension of parliament. It is their judicial recourse given the politicized supreme court. If you can't handle it, go and drink some galamsey water.

There comes a time in the life of an individual, institution or nation when things get out of hands. Sadly, in our part of the world, it appears we glorify hooliganism, chaos and commotion with the aim of tilting the nation in the path of a civil war, if patience is not restrained, the current happenstance in the country predating the December 2024 elections is very ugly, despicable and smacks of impiety., with the tendency to usher in something unprecedented in our political history. The sad part is that that the very people who draw their salaries and other largesse from we the taxpayers, are the very people who are bent on seeing the nation in flames. too sad!
Today, we all witnessed a horrible event in parliament that is similar to the lead up to the French Revolution in 1789. Both MPs on the political divide misconducted themselves for the global world to see our nakedness. who is to be blamed. I am particularly displeased with two fundamentals. First, the Honorable Speaker declaring the four seats in contention vacant when there is a motion at the apex court. Secondly, legislators displaying amply for contempt of the Supreme Court ruling regardless. Fellow Ghanaians let's wake up be wise and safeguard our nation. He is the one who packed the SC with political judges to do the bidding for himself and his political party, the NPP. Akuffo-Addo is a curse on Ghana. Since his ascension to power, Ghana has witnessed all the bad things that can happen to a nation. They have done this to the citizens and because we do not have power we swallow it. Today they are contending with another equally powerful arm of govt. We will see how all this ends. Bitter lessons must be learnt from this. As for our constitution , it should be looked at as a matter of urgency because I guess the framers did not envisage we would get a leader like this who would disrespect it and use it for his own self aggrandizement.

It’s sad how some people comment without even understanding the situation of parliament n Supreme Court. Ghanaians talk just by supporting a party but the is truth to everything. When the is constitution and you chose to over look it for ur own benefit a lot happens. If you don’t know the law just stop commenting. The seat issue is in our constitution but u see a corrupt government want to over shadow the constitution n when does happen. The won’t be any thing governing this poor country. Truth is different from party. N this is why ghana we never progress. Cos we are so glued to party party party. And we neglect the truth that can make us better.
