  This correspondent was very selective in his report. It is fair to say that he is an apology of a correspondent. He claims to have interviewed people at Tafo, Adum, Makro, Bantama, Ashtown and Asawasi. Then he names Hajia Mother of Asawasi and Abdallah Boneshaker, possibly a resident of Asawasi or a zongo dweller. These people with northern names are settlers in Kumasi and are not representatives of the natives of Kumasi and it's a known fact these people support the NDC. Indeed Asawasi is an enclave of northerners in Kumasi. No person from the other Kumasi suburbs was identified. Yet this bogus report is entitled "Residents of Kumasi ..." Are zongo dwellers and northerners now the "residents of Kumasi" to the exclusion of the natives? Definitely this correspondent's motive was to advance the cause of the NDC.
