  “DUTCH PASSPORT IS BETTER THAN PhD”
  I was the first to RUBBISH this statement or assertion.
  But from all indications our professors and economists and economists gurus are all brainless and lack economic credibility to be called PhD holder. An academic degree that cannot to be use in solving problems is as useless as a mere paper. Great Britain is an example who witnessed the downward trend of their currency last year after a change of government and that led to the prime minister and exchequer stepping down. Economist immediately salvaged the image of the British pound. Contrary to Ghanas free fall of the Cedi against the dollar, our economists only exist in name .

  Mr economist think outside of the box for once. Do you expect a country that over depends on a raw material export, whose output is largely rain-fed, to ever be self sufficient in controlling its foreign exchange position? The cedis' depreciation is not a novel development, it has been so since independence. The problem here is that instead ofbtackling it from the root, we prefer to rather do cheap politics with it because it is so convenient.

Not until we industrialize our country no government can solve the depreciation of the cedi if even the bring officials of the IMF and the world Bank period.
