  Mr Speaker you will go down in history as the one who has been the cause of unnecessary friction in the functioning of the arms of state. Some of your actions have been downright unconstitutional. Right from inception of your Speaker role you surprisingly entertained a motion by Ayariga of the opposition NDC to compel government to pay certain allowances. I was surprised because having been in parliament for the longest time I thought you would be familiar with constitutional provisions that prohibit entertaining any motion that has implications for the consolidated fund unless that motion is by the executive arm of government or supported by it. I knew from that day that your leadership was going to be full of conflicts and we have all been witnesses.
