Trokosis have a lot to be grateful to Nkrumah because he was the one who dragged you kicking and screaming into the Republic where you have become the beneficiaries of Ghana's resources. But if you think that for these reasons Ghana is "Kwame Nkrumah's Ghana", then you are sadly mistaken.

Democracy did not exist under him. Don’t listen to that ignorant Mahama with his lies. We, who lived through Dr Nkrumah’s era know exactly what he did to the opposition party. Most of them ended up in Nsawam prison and some who could afford fled the country. Ghana became a one party state under Nkrumah until he was overthrown by the military.
