Justice lies in the conscience of the people. The Supreme Court must remember that God did not ordain democracy nor any form of government. Therefore it should be very measured in its interpretation. They're irritating and agitation us too much. They should continue testing our patience. What they should remember is that there is a limit to every human endurance.

Madam CJ the SC communicated emotions to the Legislature and not an order. Order from the Supreme Court must be rooted in the Constitution and not moral concept. The Supreme Court interfered in the work of Parliament by issuing order which is not based on any positive laws but Natural Justice. Natural Justice is a natural law concept(Moral Concept ) and Ghana is governed by positive laws and not Natural Laws, thus you cannot appear to moral concept to issue order. Interpret the Article 97 (g&h) and base your order on same, then your order will be properly rooted and it would be obeyed. People losing their salaries and allowances are emotions and not an interpretation of the Constitution.
Furthermore, the Supreme is not above the Constitution of Ghana and as such all its actions must be in conformity with the constitution. What do we citizens say about the disregard to which the SC subjected Article 99 of the Constitution and assumed jurisdiction that has not be assigned to them by the Constitution. The SC is a creation of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana and not the other way round. The Constitution belong to Ghanaians and as such no institution can claim ownership of the Constitution. Also thinking that the Judiciary is superior to the other two organs of Government is an illusion They are all equal but perform different functions. The earlier the Supreme Court get this equality and ensures dialogue among themselves the better. Because with the current posture of the Supreme Court towards the Legislature, the conflict will not end now and it’s Ghanaians that would be the end losers.

In because the 1992 constitution was written by farmers, market men and women, carpenters, soldiers, police men and the ordinary Ghanaians the y English language used is easy for every average Ghanaian to read and understand as well as relate.

But when the interpretation was left to the Lawyers and Judges they have imported interpretations that are filled with big words, jargons and mundane thus confusing even some of the living writers of the constitution.

President Rawlings was right in avoiding the inclusion Lawyers, Judges in the Consultative Assembly. J.J. is indeed a Prophet, l think he saw the future at the time.
