Neocolonialism, the last stage of imperialism. A book by Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Some of the biggest mining companies in the world are quietly operating in Ghana without saying a word about galamsey.
According to the constitution, the government owns all the minerals in trust for the people. The government should ban all mining activities and mandate DIHOC to be the only miner in the country. The government will hopefully not break his own laws and pollute our rivers or destroy our remaining forests. Burkina Faso has taken the lead, first by building a gold refinery and nationalising all gold mines. Let's follow their lead.

The only solution is establishing agricultural mechanisation stations to help the youth to go into agriculture. It will be the foundation of which agro processing factories to spring up. It's not magic science.
