Ghanaians are so backward they simply don't get what Bawumia is trying to achieve. He is so advanced that people who don't understand him often call him a liar. This credit scoring system is the reason there is very little corruption in advanced countries. People there have everything they need because they buy things on credit, meaning they don't have to pay for anything with outright cash. From houses to cars, furniture to television, from phones to vacation - these can all be obtained in one day if you are credit worthy( you require income, address, id to qualify). But in Ghana, this system has not been here until recently (digitisation!) so everyone is engaged in some form of corruption in order to get the money to pay for these things. Ghana will be a prosperous nation to live in if we can significantly reduce corruption by embracing these ideas from Bawumia but Mahama, who doesn't understand how all these things are interlinked, will go and stand somewhere and say "we don't eat credit score" and some fools will be clapping for him! Oh Ghana, moa bon pa pa!

The shops in Ghana are full of things but people don't have the money to buy them; people have to save a long time to buy what they need. Is this what you do in the UK? Absolutely not! With a good address system, identification, and income coming in monthly, can't you go in and pick a television today without paying a penny upfront where you are? You are able to spread the little you have to cover so much. If every Ghanaian can do this, our shops will be empty tomorrow. It will spur the economy to grow and soon people will have jobs to do because a businessman can now employ many people at his factory if he is only paying on credit the cost of the machines at his factory! Previously he would have had to save money for years in order to buy that machine, and the machine would have been sitting in the shops for years because not many people could afford it! What is so difficult about this that so many of you don't understand except Bawumia and just a handful?

What are their challenges? Is Dr. Bawumia really a PhD holder because he doesn't reason, talk and act like one. His level of analysis is very low. Anyway, he should try the system with MASLOC first to see if people will be truthful and pay back.

I think we can be partisan but let’s be careful how we needlessly run down a good initiative. In most advanced countries there’s no such thing as inform interest rate. Everyone is rated based on their credit worthiness. That’s how people abroad can borrow and do a lot of the things that attract us there.

Bawumia has been the mate so wait till he becomes the driver before apportioning any blames. You claim this government is the worst since independence. This tells me you lack the requisite analytical skills to make such a judgment. Please tell me which government since independence went through any worldwide disrupting events that this government went through. I don't recall anytime in Nkrumah, Busia, Acheampong, Rawlings, Limann, Kuffour, Atta-Mills, and Mahama's governments where time stood still unlike this government. I know how covid disrupted my business so I can equally understand the impact it had across the world. But Ghanaians have very short memories like a woman in labour, they swear never to conceive again during childbirth but soon forget and get pregnant again! Covid changed the landscape for most countries including America and most of Europe, it left them with serious inflation. So were you expecting a country like Ghana that heavily depends on them to have been spared? No!

Credit Scoring system? What is the exchange rate today between the dollar and the cedi and between the Cedi and the British Pounds? As Head of the current ruling give economic team which means Bawumia is ahead of the Finance Ministers so he's in total control of the economy of Ghana, Bawumia has totally wrecked it in sensational style. As Head of the Economic team he sent Ghana to the IMF , because the economy was broke. Bawumia has the superb distinction of being the only Vice President in the history of Ghana to directly send it to the IMF. No Vice President or President has ever directly sent Ghana to the IMF . With IMF , Ghana isn't only getting cash but more misery because IMF conditions freezes Government expenditure but raises Revenue so the Government can't spend to recruit more young people and build infrastructure and taxes will be raised which will further crush companies in Ghana who will then abandon Ghana and flee to cause even more unemployment and more sufferings. Instead of the Walewale Adams Smith quietly going away in disgrace, he's rather here to seek his punishment of Ghanaians through his own very reckless doings. As Ghanaians are deeply suffering right right now, do we agree that Bawumia should EXTEND OUR SUFFERINGS ?? NO WAY , WE VOTE BAWUMIA OUT ON THE 7TH TO END OUR SUFFERINGS AND MAY THE LORD HELP US ALL
